The Challenge
The customer embarked on digital transformation, moving away from legacy retail solution to industry standard Oracle retail, JDA supply chain and modern data warehouse. Internal team struggled with data quality and data migration to support the digital transformation.
The Solution
Accelerant created an integrated approach to data cleansing, standardization, and ultimately migration into Oracle, JDA and ecommerce solutions.
1. Accelerant prepackaged migration toolkit assessed data readiness from legacy systems, and addressed data standardization, and cleansing based on input from the customer.
2. Accelerant experts created conversion design, and built integration variety to data sources. Proprietary load techniques for very large data sets was successfully deployed to migrated extremely large data sets for Items, locations and other master data.
3: Data was reconciled using automated test scripts after each mock run. 3 Mock runs were done to provide confidence in data conversion and assurance on load times during actual go live.
4: Data based Dashboards published KPIs that got automated updates based on actual development based by the developer, thus providing transparency in progress reporting.
5: All stakeholders got role-based action item list from the project dashboards, thus making weekly meetings more productive.
